When working in the prone position, the BoneFoam Ramp Prone Leg Elevation safely positions both the operative and non-operative leg. It elevates the operative ankle above the contralateral side for clear imaging and stabilizes the down leg with the integrated bolster. It is ideal for prone ORIF of distal tibia and ankle.
The BoneFoam Ramp elevates the injured leg and creates a stable operative platform above the non-operative leg. Isolating the operative leg provides a surgeon with sufficient room to approach the fracture from the lateral or medial aspect without having obstructions. In place of cloth bundling, Innovative Medical Products created SteriBump®, a latex-free, contoured, polyurethane foam block with a closed-cell geometry, to significantly reduce foreign particulates during surgery.
BoneFoam Acute and Obtuse Knee Wedge Positioners provide a stable support for the knee during tibial nailing or retrograde femoral nailing. The wedge is positioned behind the operative knee in a flexed position.
